​   Born and raised in Tokyo, one of the greatest fashion cities in the world, I learned the craft of costume design at the Tokyo Designer College. After graduation, I assisted stylist and designer Ms. Sakae Kaneda of well-known fashion magazine Ryukou Tsushin for 3 years. I then worked as a stylist for 5 years, dressing many famous singers, actors, and actresses in the entertainment industry.

   After building a foundation of costume design skills, I moved to Los Angeles with the goal of developing and expanding my costuming career and have worked on several projects in commercial print and film, magazine, theatrical costume, and television. I currently am working on the new AMC show “The Terror” as Assistant Costume Designer in Vancouver/ Canada.

   I have over 20 years of experience as a Costume Designer and my approach is to always emphasize “Care, Patience, and Respect,” when dressing clients to make them look their best for their roles.
